WET AND WINDY WEATHER RETURNS WEDNESDAY - TIE DOWN THE WHEELIE BIN AND TRAMPOLINES


On Wednesday night a area of low pressure will move of west and northwest coast of Ireland leading to spell of very windy weather with winds gusting up to 110km/hr over night and into the early hours of the morning.

Winds will be strongest over Connacht and the northwest of Ireland especially over coastal county's where gale force winds will be possible along coast regions.

The public should avoid coastal walk ways, cliffs, headlands and piers due to very dangerous conditions. 

Below you can see the strength of the gusts possible across parts over the time period.

Anyone with wheelie bins, trampolines or anything lose that can be picked up by the wind should tie it down or put away.

This area of low pressure will also be accompanied by a spell of rain On Wednesday into the early hours of Thursday morning this heaviest over the Connacht and Ulster where some spot flooding may occur.
