UP TO 15,000 HOMES WITH NO POWER THIS MORNING NOW ACROSS PARTS OF IRELAND - STORM HECTOR UPDATE 6:14AM
There are now over 15000 homes with out power this morning as of 6.24am due to strong winds from Storm Hector worst affected areas so far have been Ulster and Connacht with a small number of home in Munster also with no power.
The worst affected area in Ireland is Glenamaddy Co.Galway where 5255 customers lost power this morning but the ESB have since got this down to .
There are currently power cuts in the county's of Donegal, Mayo, Leitrim Galway, Roscommon Cavan, Galway, Limerick, Tipperary, Cork, Fermanagh, Tyrone, Down & Antirm.
Esb crews are working hard on restoring power but it will take a number of hours yet due to the strength of the winds.
Stongest winds are now hitting Ulster this morning with a spike in areas seen power cuts.
The strongest gust recorded was this morning at Mace head Galway of 115km/hr

Wind are now peaking across Connacht this morning and will peak across Donegal after 4am when storm hector passes by the peak will last for up to 2 hours when wind will be at there strongest. Across the rest of Ulster winds will peak 4am to 7am.
