At the end of the week High pressure will again start to Build over the country Friday will be a dry day apart from a few showers earlier in the morning but these fizzling out before midday.

As that big ridge of High pressure extends in from the Atlantic it will sit over the country this weekend just in time for the Bank holiday weekend.

Temperatures over the weekend will be in the low 20s to mid 20s and if that high manage to drift just a little further north of us we could of seen warmer temperatures in the high 20s again.

Saturday will see a mixture of cloud but some sunshine too in places with dry weather across Ireland temperatures will range between 20C to 24C

Sunday will see a mixture better spells of Sunshine too with dry weather across Ireland again temperatures will range between 20C to 24C.

Current indications for the start of next week from Monday is for Thunderstorms across parts of Ireland with a thundery low passing over the country. This would lead to Heavy downpours in places and flooding.
