Check out this upwards wapterfall in Leitrim as storm force winds on Wednesday morning

Ever see a waterfall going upwards, This witnessed by Ronnie Graham on Wednesday morning as strong winds battered the country. This was beautiful Glencar waterfall Co. Leitrim. Locals say never seen it before like this, storm Ali at work.

Glencar Waterfall is in a stunning location on the steep-sided Glencar valley beside atmospheric Lake, 11 kilometres west of Manorhamilton in County Leitrim. At 15m it is easily accessible via a hard path. It is particularly impressive after rain and can be viewed from a lovely wooded walk. There are more waterfalls visible from the road, although none is quite as romantic as this one which is mentioned by WB Yeats in his poem ‘The Stolen Child’.
