This weekend will see temperatures rise across Ireland with warmer weather than the past week and good spells of sunshine in most parts at times over the Bank Holiday. There will be some cloud around this weekend but the sun should break through in any place that see some cloudy spells. Temperatures this weekend will rise between 14C to 20C. Warmest areas of Ireland will be Midlands, South and East where temperatures will rise between 17C to 20C  possibly 21C.

But the latest indications for the end of next week and next weekend is for a rather unsettled period.

On Wednesday next week there are signs on the model a weather front with heavy rain will sweep across Ireland moving west to east in of the Atlantic. The latest Gfs model shows another area of rain moving in of the Atlantic at Thursday night into Friday with more rain and wed weather. At the end of next week and over the week there also is the risk for windy weather with winds gusting up to 80km/hr to 100km/hr this most likely across western part looking at the latest GFS and Ecmwf model.

But its not all bad news for at least now There are signs of a improvement again going into the third week of may with drier and warmer weather again but this yet is uncertain.
