Serious damage caused in Leitrim Village this afternoon from a tornado
BREAKING NEWS - Leitrim Village has been struck this afternoon by a Tornado causing serious damage to property and the village. This comes as storm Fergus made landfall this afternoon and a Thunderstorms passed close to the area.
The Tornado moved through the village at approximately 12:44pm.
A number of Buildings, Cars and trees have been damaged with no reports at the moment of any injuries.
Gardai and local emergency services are currently in the area dealing with the freak weather event damage.
