Firefighters battle gorse fire near Donegal border in Derry this evening

NIFRS and police are in attendance at a gorse fire in the Skeoge Link Road area of Derry. Residents in the vicinity are advised to keep their windows and doors closed. Motorists are also advised to avoid the area, as smoke may make driving conditions difficult.
