High pressure building at the end of the week and over the weekend with cooler and drier weather
After what will be a unsettled start to the new week there is some good news and that is that weather models show high pressure building towards the end of the week and this weekend to give a drier period of weather after what has been a very wet two weeks in places with above average rainfall amounts.
After ex Tropical storm Sebastien clears on Wednesday of to the east the weather will turn much drier.

WEDNESDAY 27TH NOVEMBER 2019
Wednesday looks set to be a better day with dry weather for many with some bright and sunny spells, Some showers will occur across the southeast over the morning and early afternoon but these clearing over the later afternoon and evening. A little cooler also as winds will come from a northerly direction. Temperatures will range between 8C to 10C.
Wednesday night will see a lot of cloud around for many places but some clear spells will develop across some northern parts. Temperatures will range between 3C to 7C overnight coolest in the west and northwest.
THURSDAY 28TH NOVEMBER 2019
Thursday will start of cloud across Ireland with some light and patchy rain across Ulster this moving southwards over the afternoon and evening, bright and sunny weather will develop from the north over the afternoon pushing southwards over the afternoon as rain clears. Temperatures on Thursday between 7C to 10C.
Turning cold overnight with frost and icy conditions developing across Eastern, Northern and some western parts with temperatures between -3C to 0C. Across the south of Ireland it will be a little warmer with temperatures between 2C to 4C.

FRIDAY 29TH NOVEMBER 2019
Friday will be a dry the with nice bright and sunny spells everywhere and probably the best day of the week. Temperatures will range between 4C to 8C remaining cool in light easterly breezes.
Turning cold again overnight Friday with the risk of frost especially across northern and western parts with temperatures between -2C to 0C, elsewhere temperatures will range between 2C to 6C.
SATURDAY 30TH NOVEMBER 2019
Saturday will see cloud increase from the south with some rain tipping across southern coastal counties for a time on Saturday morning the good news is that it will stay dry everywhere else over the morning and afternoon with best of any bright and sunny weather over the northern half of Ireland. Everywhere will be dry over the evening. Temperatures will range between 4C to 9C.
Turning cold overnight on Saturday with frosty conditions developing for many areas with lows of -3C to 3C.
OUTLOOK 1ST OF DECEMBER 2019 ONWARD
Sunday again will be another dry day across Ireland after a cold and frosty start. Over the day there will be nice and bright sunshine but temperatures will only range between 4C to 8C. Turning cold again overnight with further frost for many areas with clear skies.
The start of next week the weather looks rather settled with high pressure in place giving way to settle conditions and cold and frosty nights. It may turn unsettled again towards the end of the week into the weekend but this is uncertain.
