Rescue 118 tasked to Sligo Town in the search for missing person tonight
Rescue 118 searching the waters over Sligo town tonight
A search operation was launched tonight in Sligo town along the Garavogue river and down along the docks for a missing person.
The Sligo based search and rescue helicopter along with the RNLI lifeboat from Rosses point was launched at just after 9pm
Gardai also where present along the docks as the search took place and lasted just over a hour, its is reported a body has been found with the rescue 118 helicopter returning to near by base at Sligo airport just before 10:30pm
Sligo Gardai made a appeal today for a missing man in Sligo on there facebook page who has since been found

Gardaí and the family of Mr Gethins are becoming increasingly concerned as to the whereabouts of Carl. He was wearing a navy jacket and dark tracksuit bottoms
