ROADS ALERT - Snowfall in many parts of Donegal with very icy conditions reported throughout the county

There is very icy roads been reported across many areas of Donegal tonight With snowfall reported in Letterkenny, Killybegs, Kilcar, Fahan, Muff and Moville.
Gardai say roads around Buncrana are in poor conditions with icy roads and snow
Gardai have also said Fahan bend is very icy and to be careful on the route. Muff to Moville also has icy conditions in places.
Roads are said to have not been gritted in these areas or else showers have washed the gritt away.
There is a light dusting of snow tonight on the Barnesmore gap Donegal with temporary accumulations and icy conditions possible on the route with temperatures below freezing.

There also has been snow accumulations on the Glenshane pass Derry with very poor conditions on the route.

Caution is advised on all routes tonight across Ireland especially across the Connacht and Ulster where some very icy conditions will occur on Thursday morning.
