BEACH

The glorious Dooey beach , sandwiched between Gweebarra and Traigheanna Bays, is one of Donegal’s most idyllic and tranquil coastal spots and a favourite among surfers, swimmers and walkers. Located close to Leitirmacaward, 13 km south of Dungloe, it is surrounded by protected dunes and is a special area of conservation.
