Sligo - 10:45hrs

A man in his 20s has died following a collision between a van and a lorry in Co Sligo.

The incident happened on the N15 at Urlar, Drumcliffe at 6am.

The man, who was driving the van, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road is closed while a technical examination takes place.

The driver of the lorry was taken to Sligo University Hospital but his injuries are not life-threatening.

Gardaí are appealing to witnesses and ask anyone who was travelling between Drumcliffe and Grange at the time of the incident, especially those with dash-cam footage, to contact them.
