Falcarragh Beach in Donegal is an exposed beach break that only works when conditions are just right with no particular seasonal pattern. Works best in offshore winds from the south and there is no shelter here from cross shore breezes. Light onshore winds ruin the quality Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and winds wells and the optimum swell angle is from the north. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights. Best around high tide. A remote wave spot that never gets crowded. Watch out for dangerous rips.
