7 SKIERS, TWO CLIMBERS AND A GUIDE HAVE DIED ON THE ALPS DUE TO BAD WEATHER

Seven skiers, two climbers and a guide have died on the alps Switzerland  Last Weekend.

The Swiss Alps were hit by big storm over the weekend which  brought falling temperatures after  a period of unseasonably warm weather on the mountain.

On Sunday a group of 14 people from Italy , Germany and France had been on the mountain Skiing and failed reach to there cabin where 5 of them have been since confirmed to have passed away

Caught by bad weather, they were forced to spend the night outside in the Pigne d'Arolla area.

The manager of a cabin in Vignettes sent out a distress call early on Monday morning after they failed to arrive, and seven helicopters were dispatched as part of a search operation.

AFP news agency reports Police gave their ages as 21 and 22
