TODAY HAS BEEN THE WARMEST DAY IN IRELAND THIS YEAR SO FAR
Today Sunday 6th of May 2018 has been the warmest day of 2018 so far with temperatures in Leinster getting up to 22C. Mean while over parts of Munster there was over a 10C of a difference in temperature.
At Roches Point weather station Co.Cork a high of 11C was recorded compared to that in Dublin and the Phoenix park at 5pm this evening where temperatures got up to 21C to 22C.
Temperatures over west parts got up to around 13C to 15C and 15C to 20C across northern parts.

It has just been confirmed that the highest temperature today recorded was in the Phoenix park Dublin a temperature of 23C was recorded at Met Eireann's weather station

For most there was good sunshine across Ireland today with the best of the sunshine over eastern parts where the warmest temperatures where also recorded.

Across Munster and Connacht tomorrow cloud will increases as rain moves in Monday night and Tuesday morning to all parts. Over most of Monday there should be nice sunshine again across most of Ulster and Leinster. Temperatures on Monday will range between 14C to 21C/22C. warmest in the east and midlands again.
At present Cloud is beginning to move into western and northwestern area with a drop in temperatures due to no sunshine breaking through. Latest Satellite Image can be seen below.
