BRIGHTER WEATHER WITH SUNNY SPELLS NOW SPREADING FROM THE WEST - WEATHER UPDATE
After a wet start to Wednesday rain is slowly clearing eastwards across Ireland with brighter and sunny spells now following behind over Connacht, west Ulster and West Munster.
by this evening a good bulk of Ireland will see the same conditions when the rain clears of over the Irish sea
This mornings and today's rainfall is due to area of low pressure which is currently of the northwest coast of Ireland which lead to a weather front sweeping over the country on Wednesday

The below image shows the latest from the rainfall radar showing that rain still over the middle parts of Ireland and eastern areas.
It will be at least 3pm/4pm before rain clears the middle of Ireland and 6pm/7pm over far eastern parts.
All areas by tomorrow evening should see sunny spells but some cloud to with the evening finishing on a better note.
This same weather system will then spread eastwards over England, Wales and Scotland Wednesday night before dying out over eastern parts of England around dawn Thursday morning.
Thursday across Ireland is looking a better day with only a few scattered showers around but some bright spells and sunny spells to early on and over the first half of the day before cloud starts to increase over southern parts
