BEACH

Reaching Dunfanaghy's loveliest beach, Tramore, requires hiking through the grassy dunes to the west of the village for about 2km. It's not safe to swim here due to dangerous currents.

The beauty of this beach isn't the beach itself, it's getting there. There aren't any roads. You have to walk around 3k or so over the dunes. And then it just opens up onto this. It's beautiful. And most of the time, it's only you there. One of my favourite places in the world.
