Video - Rossnowlagh Beach Donegal claims 3 cars in the last 11 days

Its got to be a regular sight on Donegal’s largest beach with cars been claimed by the sea on a regular bases. Rossnowlagh in South West Donegal, Ireland has a wide, sandy, Blue Flag beach which stretches about 4km (2.5 miles) in length.

Just recently Rossnowlagh was in the news all over Ireland and outside of Ireland due to a pod 8 whales which all died got stranded on the beach  in the largest live stranding of the species in the country's history.

In the last 7 days 3 cars have seen the tide come in and bury cars on the beach. On Rossnowlagh beach during the summer month Donegal County Council put down buoys blocking access to the soft sand on the center of the beach which is located near the front of the landmark Sandhouse hotel but just 11 days ago these where removed again for the winter months.

During the busy August Bank Holiday there reports of Multiple vehicles nearly claimed by the sea only for there was large crowd on the beach to help people get out.
