County Donegal has a coastline of 1235 km/, County Donegal is blessed with many beautiful sandy beaches.

Donegal has 13 Blue Flags including 12 Blue Flag beaches & one Blue Flag marina at Greencastle in Inishowen as well as 5 Green Coast awards.
The 12 Blue Flags beaches are at Bundoran, Rossnowlagh, Murvagh, Fintra, Narin (Portnoo), Carrickfinn, Killahoey (Dunfanaghy), Marblehill, Portsalon (Magherawarden), Shroove, Culdaff and Downings.
