Donegal hit with a M2.5 Earthquake this morning
At 00:32 UTC on the 6th of May 2023 an M2.5 earthquake occurred at a depth of approximately 5 km. The event occurred near Glenveagh National Park in northern Donegal, Ireland (see map below). The Irish Nation Seismic Network (INSN) has received reports that the event was felt throughout the Donegal area.
The event was recorded by seismic stations in the Irish National Seismic Network (INSN), see figure below.
