DRIER START TO THE WEEK BUT BECOMING MORE UNSETTLED BY THE END OF THE WEEK
After a fairly dry week gone and temperatures in the high teens and low 20s this week will start on a drier note with just the risk of a few isolated showers but from Wednesday evening and night on the weather will become more unsettled with a increasing risk of higher rainfall amounts.
MONDAY 20TH MAY 2019
Monday will be a mostly dry day with some isolated showers these mainly across the northeast and east. There will also be a mixture of sunny spells but some cloud around too with the best of the sunshine across the west and northwest. Temperatures on Monday will range between 13C to 18C.

Tuesday will see a bright and sunny spells again but a few isolated showers may occur across the north and east again. Temperatures will range between 14C to 18C.

WEDNESDAY 22ND MAY 2019
Wednesday will start of with bright and sunny spells across Ireland over the afternoon there will be the risk of a few isolated showers with cloud moving in from the west and increasing over the evening with rain over the west but early Wednesday night. Temperatures will range between 14C to 18C.
Rain will move in from the west overnight pushing eastwards overnight reaching all areas just after midnight. Temperatures will range between 7C to 10C
THURSDAY 23RD MAY 2019
Rain will move west to east across Ireland on Thursday morning it will become dry in some places for a time around midday but further showers and rainfall will move west to east across Ireland over the day and evening some will be heavy. Temperatures over the day will range between 15C to 17C.
Rain will clear to the east overnight and it will become drier from the west later in the night

Friday is looking a drier day across Ireland with some bright and sunny spells, Over the afternoon there will be the risk of some isolated showers across some northern areas. Wind will be northerly over the day will temperatures a little lower than previous days. highs of around 15C to 17C
SATURDAY 25TH MAY 2019
At present Saturday looks set to start of dry and cloudy. Later in the afternoon and evening rain looks set to move in from the west but amounts looks set to be small. Rain will continue over night before clearing later Sunday morning. Temperatures over the weekend will be slightly below average for the time of year.

The outlook for the start of next week at present is for a unsettled start to the week with a area of low pressure bring in heavy falls of rain from the Atlantic some which could be thundery. There is a chance by the end of the week and over the weekend it will become less unsettled
