ITS OFFICIALLY THE WARMEST DAY OF 2019 AS TEMPERATURES REACH 22°C IN DONEGAL AND CLARE

Its Officially the warmest day in Ireland of 2019 with temperatures rising into the low 20s across parts of Ireland.

Warmest counties where Donegal and Clare where temperatures in Finner weather station in south Donegal hit 22°C with Shannon Airport also in the low 20s as temperatures there also hit 22°C

It was misty to start in places today but over the afternoon there is Hazy sunshine over much of the country with temperatures in the Counties of Sligo, Letrim, Mayo and Roscommon climbing to around 20C to 21C.

Tomorrow will be another warm day across Ireland with temperatures warmest in the midlands and east on Saturday due to a increasing cloud cover over the day in the west, northwest and north, Elsewhere there will be further Sunshine hazy in some places.

Temperatures on Saturday will range between 17C to 22C but cooler in the west, northwest and north where temperatures will range between 15C to 17C with the risk of some rain and drizzle over the afternoon and evening.

Saturday night will become very misty and foggy with very poor visibly so be extra careful if you plan to travel.
