New detailed Covid 19 case map of Ireland and the northwest showing where the cases are
A new detailed map has been released by the HSE showing where all the cases across Ireland have been reported so far which shows the hot spot where a large number of cases have Covid 19 has been confirmed.
The latest map shows cases up until the 13th of April 2020.
In Donegal there area a number of hotspots with the town of Letterkenny, Buncrana, Ballyshannon, Bundoran and Killybegs showing the larger numbers in a small area as the map below shows.
To date there are 296 cases of covid 19 cases in Donegal with these figures only showing up until the 13th of April with results from the last two days still pending.
There are now 12,547 cases of Covid 19 in Ireland with 444 deaths to date the largest amount of cases are in the east of Ireland with county Dublin seen the most cases with 5,850 cases there.
Donegal has the highest number of cases out of northern, northwestern and western counties with 296 cases and behind Donegal you have Cavan with 254 cases.
