LIMERICK RALLY STOPPED AND CALLED OF DUE TO HEAVY SNOWFALL TODAY

The Limerick Rally which take this weekend today has been stopped due to heavy snow on safety grounds with the route been described of been looking like Sweden due to Storm Freya which has dumped big amounts of rain and snow in parts over this morning and afternoon.

3 division 1 Hurling games have also been called today due to heavy rainfall and waterloged pitches after the refs deemed them not safe to play on.
