Next week
Beyond next weekend there is a little uncertainty . The trend at the moment is for conditions to turn a little cooler. There are 3thing that could happen.
Colder spell - possibility 1
If the high pressure moves westwards out into the Atlantic and start to ridge towards Greenland this may introduce a more northerly or easterly airflow allowing colder conditions to extent down across Ireland bringing some frost, ice and wintry shower. A more zonal airflow
Milder wet and possibly windy conditions - possibility 2
High pressure puts up no fight and gets shifted eastwards towards central Europe bringing in Atlantic weather fronts bring wet weather and possibly windy conditions also
Cooler and watered down cold spell - possibility 3
High pressure move of to the southwest of Ireland with a more north-westerly airflow bring cooler conditions with rain, hail, sleet shower and snow over the mountains.
