Fire on Breezy mountain in south Donegal tonight
A large gorse fire has broken out at Breezy mountain tonight near Ballyshannon and Cashelard in south Donegal
The fire can be seen by across much of south Donegal which is currently glowing very brightly
It is believed that the fire started this evening but it is not yet knowing how the fire started.
There are a number of fire units on the scene with the Ballyshannon, Donegal town and Belleek units fighting the gorse fire.
A new orange fire warning has been issued today by the department of agriculture for forest fires and gorse fires.
