Mostly dry for St. Patricks day with sunny spells across Ireland with a dry and sunny weekend also
As we head towards the 17th of March one of the busiest days across Ireland it is shaping up to be a rather nice day across Ireland with sunshine in the forecast after some morning showers possible. The good news is as we head into the Friday, Saturday and Sunday it is set to be dry with high pressure sitting across Ireland bring good sunny spells.
For our follower who follow the Aurora updates this also may be good news as the sun at the moment looks rather active and any CMEs directed our way may mean a chance of the seen some northern light over the coming days.
St Patricks day will start of with some showers moving in from the Atlantic moving west to east but over the afternoon and evening showers will fizzle out with sunny spells developing with many area looking likely to see some dry weather just in time for parades. As we move into the afternoon and evening sunny spells will increase further with a nice pleasant later afternoon and evening. Temperature will range between 9C to 13C warmest in the east and south

Friday, Saturday and Sunday are set to be very nice days with bright and sunny spells across Ireland. It will be great weather for taken a road trip or just been out and about in general.
Temperatures this weekend will range between 11C to 14C feeling a little warmer than the last few weeks. There will be the risk of some frost on some of the morning with lows of around -1C possible so gardeners should be aware of this.
The overall trend for the rest of the month calls for higher pressure than normal which would bring drier and a increasing risk of good sunny spells at times. Temperatures will be near normal with still the on going risk of frost
